Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, dream, discover. – Mark Twain
Every now and then we find ourselves in a transitional hallway. We close doors that need to be closed for whatever reason and then we are unsure of what to do next. I actually love being in this place sometimes. It is quiet. Then there are other times when it gets too quiet. All I can think of is where am I going and what am I supposed to do next. That is where action needs to take place.
Lately the hallway has shown me windows that aren’t quite opened yet but I can get a glimpse of what could be possible if I were to open them. If you don’t rush and if you take your time, it could be a good thing once you find the courage and the strength to move forward. You need an action plan.
My decision to start blogging has been one of those decision for me. I have completely enjoyed it. I have wanted to write for so long and share my story in hopes to help someone who struggles. I know that my stories can be depressing stories, but life really is depressing sometimes. . So I push forward! I have so much to be grateful for and I hope to share in the future those wonderful things that life has to offer.
I am a true believer that hard work and determination will pay off. Even when not everyone believes in you. I have people in my life that roll their eyes at me when I bare my soul for everyone to see as if I’m some sort of embarrassment to them. The really great thing about this whole process is it isn’t about them for a change. It is about me and my journey. I will continue to push forward and I will continue to try to reach those who need to hear that there is another side to life, there will be joy and there will be positive posts about my life. I have a few in the making. Hang tight.
So with todays post, I just would like you to think about the things you haven’t done, that would make a difference in your journey. Find something that has been in your mind and heart and you haven’t had the opportunity to start. Make today your day. Plan it out. Write down the steps it would take to achieve it and move forward, set your goals and go for it!
